Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd was established in 2016 by two best friends, Nqobile Ngcobo and Zinhle Thusi, under the laws of South Africa. The company is located at the Offices at Umhlali in the Dolphin Coast on the north side of Kwazulu Natal.
The company was formed to be able to help communities with affordable financial loan(s) as some of our community members cannot access financial resources with ease in the mainstream banking sector.
About Us
Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd was also established to inspire the townships along the Dolphin Coast. Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd is a microfinance business that complies with the National Credit Regulations of South Africa. Ulwazi Lwethu Trading does not only provide financial loans but also provides financial advice to people who have been blacklisted and sinking in debts. The first motto and Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd is “to not exploit to advising people in making loans they do not need”. The establishment of Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd was also inspired by discovery of how much black South Africans especially in the lower and middle class, lack financial freedom and most importantly the lack of financial education. Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd has made it a mission to work with black owned businesses and has made efforts into promoting most of these businesses.
Our Mission
Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd is on a mission to empower more black owned businesses and strives to be relatable to the community and seeing black South Africans strive in the economy sector. The company’s purpose is to not only seen as a microfinance company but as an establishment that will inspire the community.
- By 2026 Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd’s mission is open more than one branch around the Kwazulu Natal province in order to develop and assist more people from the middle and lower class
- To work and empower more black owned establishments.
- To help at least more than 2000 people to getting their financial freedom
- To create more jobs and important roles, especially for the youth so that the South African economy can have a good future ahead.
As a microfinance business, Ulwazi Lwethu Trading Pty Ltd intends to increase opportunities for the poor to access financial services by providing an affordable rate and also helping small businesses.
